Job OverviewAs the Leader, Fragrance Counter Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of fragrance colleagues while managing all aspects of the fragrance business. Responsibilities include driving sales performance, coaching staff, developing loyal customers, and executing events and promotions in partnership with sales and vendor teams. You will maintain counter presentation and ensure a customer‑centric culture.
Day to Day Activities- Set the tone by greeting staff, reviewing sales goals, and staying informed on new launches and trends.
- Lead through action by welcoming customers, engaging in personal conversations, and creating meaningful relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable space: keep testers clean, signage current, and displays brand‑aligned.
- Finish strong: promote loyalty benefits, confirm customer needs, and close interactions with gratitude.
- Model collaboration, honesty, and care to support peers and enhance the customer experience.
- Continuously strive for excellence, achieve sales goals, and deliver store results.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized consultations and expert product knowledge.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and drive client development through outreach and follow‑up.
- Review and analyze business performance (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, annual) and implement growth strategies.
- Plan and execute in‑store and vendor‑led events to drive traffic and engagement.
- Maintain brand standards through proper merchandising, hygiene, and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership to optimize outcomes.
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional, customer‑first manner.
- Stay informed on new launches, best‑sellers, and beauty trends to support team education.
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate flexibility, sound judgment, and a passion for the beauty industry.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 3–5 years of relevant retail, beauty, or leadership experience preferred.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors; read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
Physical Requirements
• Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing for at least two hours, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash register transactions.
