Under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Associate monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implements store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location.

• Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as required.

• Minimum of 2 years Asset Protection Experience in a large-volume retail environment.
• Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.

Salary Range: $22.61 – $28.26 per hour (actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors).
