Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Pay
: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $5.01 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail operations. Responsibilities include greeting and engaging customers, processing sales and loans, and resolving customer inquiries with a focus on a positive and professional experience. Associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in licensed locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; supports a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• May be asked to assist customers on exterior areas and retrieve items stored in exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed and maintain a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and standard office machines.
