Sales Associate

Join the loudest store at Memorial City Mall! We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you’ll be a huge part of our success by providing the best customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You will share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and help merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, all while being hyper-focused on the in-store experience.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards.
• Work the register, using your fandom knowledge to process sales transactions and drive add-on sales; include BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture, & merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion & music trend information to management and respective HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to ensure there is no misuse of magic or wizardry related to theft.
• Support the maintenance of the store, keeping the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Communicate and work as a team to get the job done.
• Complete any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Avenger-like collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product using approved equipment, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
