Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure cost control and compliance with financial plans.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, timesheets, and project costs for accuracy and proper allocation within the accounting system.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, variance analyses, profitability assessments, and draft/final customer invoices.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve project performance and profitability.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on financial planning, forecasting, contract management, and project execution.
- Reconcile supplier purchases, inventory usage, and third-party costs against project records and reports.
- Support accounting functions, including gross margin analysis, revenue accruals, purchase order processing, and month-end close activities.
- Provide financial guidance during project meetings and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and HSEQ standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives supporting ISO and organizational quality, environmental, and safety objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and financial principles.
- Strong understanding of prevailing wage laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
