Base Pay
Minimum base pay of $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.
PurposeFloor & Decor’s Sales Associates continuously provide customers with friendly, accurate service and support, helping them find products to complete their projects while maintaining a clean, safe sales environment.

- Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed expectations
- Maintain in‑stock condition and ensure assigned areas are clean, shoppable and safe
- Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals
- Process customers at checkout using POS, handle refunds and exchanges, and follow cash acceptance procedures
- Create price tags and merchandise signs, stock, tag and display merchandise
- Adhere to company core values, safety processes, and compliance rules
- Answer telephone according to company guidelines
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed
- Work accurately in a fast‑pace environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic math skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Some positions may require forklift certification through F&D; if required, successful completion of a drug test
Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise level typically quiet to moderate. Physical demands include lifting and moving objects up to 60 pounds, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Hands and fingers used for handling.
