Role summary:
Food and Consumable associates focus on taking care of customers and merchandising. They move incoming merchandise to the salesfloor and create seasonal display features to meet customer needs.

Join our food and grocery team and contribute to decisions about the quality of fresh produce and other items that customers eat and enjoy with their families. You will work in roles across deli, bakery, and dry grocery departments to support customer service and product availability.

• Work in our deli to deliver frontline customer service and help create a positive shopping experience.
• In our bakery, assist customers and support cake decoration and celebrations.
• In dry grocery, help customers locate items and ensure shelves are stocked.

Across all fresh food and grocery areas, responsibilities include detailed cleaning of shelves, maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality products. If you have a passion or experience with fresh food or grocery, this is the job for you.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready
