Grocery Key Holder

About the Role

We are looking for a Grocery Team Leader (Key Holder) to join our retail team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day store operations, leading the sales associate team, ensuring accurate inventory and merchandising, and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Open and close the store each shift.
• Assist with daily store operations, including bank deposits, cash handling, and register reconciliation.
• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks, organize products, and transfer items from the stockroom to the store front.
• Maintain product rotation, food‑handling standards, and overall store appearance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships, solving issues, and boosting sales.
• Train, supervise, and mentor sales associates on assigned duties and performance goals.
• Occasionally respond to alarm calls outside of business hours and support neighboring stores if needed.

• 1–2 years of progressive retail experience, preferably in a grocery setting.
• Valid driver’s license (strongly preferred).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle tasks above shoulder height.
• Flexible full‑time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to safely operate power equipment such as slicers, walkie lifts, and forklifts where applicable.
• Minimum 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass pre‑employment checks, including drug screening and criminal background verification.
• Basic computer skills.
