Position Summary
Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in‑stock inventory levels. Support budgeting, forecasting sales, and assess economic trends and community needs.
Responsibilities- Provide direction and guidance to associates on proper customer and member service approaches.
- Resolve customer and member complaints within company guidelines and standards.
- Implement and participate in community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community.
- Enforce company and legal policies, procedures and regulations for the Vision Center.
- Analyze reports, implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls.
- Oversee safety, operational and quality assurance reviews; develop action plans to improve performance.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates: hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Consult with and educate members and customers on eyewear selection; obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidential information, perform minor frame repair and maintain optical equipment.
- Adhere to the Open Door Policy, meet with associates to resolve concerns, and support company policies and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support initiatives and meet customer and business needs, building accountability and measuring progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.

BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage range of $27.00 to $37.00, with hourly rate meeting or exceeding the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, a Regional Pay Zone based on location.
