Position: Full Time Assistant Store Manager (Store 1717)
Game Stop - 1440 Fry Road - Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class guest service: promptly greet guests, respond to guest questions/concerns quickly and courteously; assist guests with meeting their video gaming needs; inform guests of promotions and programs; apply selling behaviors during transactions; thank guests for shopping at Game Stop.;
Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager; support the store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals; input feedback into Workday/HR system; ensure onboarding and training for associates; communicate concerns to Store Manager.;
Schedule store associates and manage breaks/meals per guidelines; approve payroll and time off requests; ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised; manage inventory and loss prevention practices; fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily.;
Count, balance, and reconcile daily POS totals; complete closeout paperwork and bank deposits; verify shipments and conduct inventories; process defectives/recalls and stock pulls; maintain safety and security of store.;
Maintain store records/files; adhere to policies and procedures; ensure opening/closing procedures are followed; support compliance training and policy updates.
