Retail Assistant Store Manager
$13.00 to $17.00 per hour. Commission structure pays you for every transaction processed. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $6.02 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management or third‑key experience. The role covers day‑to‑day store operations, staff development, recruitment, financial goal achievement, and customer satisfaction, partnering with the Store Manager to set a customer‑centric tone.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and resolving issues quickly.
- Assist in training pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers, and ensure all asset‑protection procedures are followed.
- Maintain asset protection via inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Meet or exceed First Cash operating standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
- Complete assigned training and development tasks.
- Communicate clearly with employees about store mission and profit objectives.
- Keep product knowledge updated.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Physical ability to perform extended duties, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated supervisory ability.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- Must be willing to assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from external storage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Flexible to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Will work 40+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
