• Assist customers and provide courteous service.
• Clean shelves, display cases, and meat wrap displays.
• Take special orders and coordinate with the meat cutter to determine cuts needed.
• Lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. and perform bending, standing, stooping for prolonged periods.
• Work under direct supervision in a fast‑paced grocery environment.

• Read and write Spanish and English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 45 lbs., occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
