• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos

Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. They assist customers, set up, maintain and clean the seafood display cases, clean, fill and rotate the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
