Under direct supervision, the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli department. The role includes two shifts: morning shift begins with replenishing product as directed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, and the clerk is responsible for assisting customers throughout the shift and maintaining cleanliness of the department.
The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements. Certification RequirementsFood Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
