Merchandise Allocation Analyst

The (HYBRID) Merchandise Allocation Analyst is responsible for providing thoughtful store analysis that places the right product in the right stores at the right time which contributes to the company's sales and margin goals. This role works closely with buying, planning, and store partners in delivering assortments that satisfy our customers' needs.

This hybrid role will report to the**
* *** Bed quarters**
* *** location in Houston, TX 2-3 days each week and may work remotely the remainder of the week.
**** Manage location reporting and analyze store productivity by category on a regular basis, identifying opportunities/liabilities, to ensure execution of corporate sales and inventory objectives.
* Create localized assortments that meet the needs of the customer through thoughtful store analysis by region, market, district, and store.
* Accurately execute new sales strategies through product allocation/recommendation.
* Monitor replenishment product placement by store, partnering with store execution and inventory planners on recommendations.
* Participate in inventory analysis by DC/store and present findings and recommendations to Supply Chain, Inventory and Store Operations.
* Support the Planner in routine analysis and data pulls.
* Maintain updated store list as well as eligibility files.
* Create store assortments for launch of new product based on buyers' intents.
* Prepare complex ad-hoc analyses as requested.
* Participate with data analytics in store clustering objectives.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings that contribute to the launch and advancement of projects.
* Proactively reach out to cross-functional partners, management, and counterparts to advise of any concerns regarding the development or improvement of processes, Department or Company as a whole.
* Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
* Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
* Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
* Follow all company policies and execute company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
* Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
