Leasing Administrator (Multifamily) – First Service Residential

Pay Range: $21.00/hr – $24.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Job OverviewThe leasing consultant plays an integral role in the community by interacting with prospective and existing residents daily. This position supports the leasing manager and requires touring and educating new prospects on the benefits and lifestyle of living in the community.
Your Responsibilities- Track all daily phone calls, emails and new prospect traffic to the leasing office.
- Interview all new prospects and enter all qualified traffic information in the new prospect guest card, especially as regards to how they learned about the community.
- Lock in appointments to visit the community.
- After establishing a positive relationship, tour the property with the new guest and secure a commitment to apply for a new home.
- Explain the application process and procedures and initiate the application.
- Arrange for all new lease signings electronically or in person, along with collection of funds.
- Follow up on prospects daily.
- Assist the leasing manager in monitoring renewals in a timely manner, distributing and following up on renewal notices.
- Ensure all information is entered into Yardi and any other software programs such as on‑
- Assist with inspections of move‑in apartments to ensure quality meets standards.
- Receive all telephone calls and in‑person visits; listen to resident requests, concerns and comments.
- Inspect models and available market‑ready units and communicate related service needs to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalency. State‑required real‑estate sales or broker license, basic computer skills, proficiency using Microsoft Office, experience with Yardi and other management software platforms a plus. Ability to work weekends, ask questions, close a sale, and desire to prove sales ability and advance career.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent communication skills; strong understanding of customer‑service principles and practices; ability to perform with minimum supervision and make independent decisions; ability to multi‑task, effectively prioritize workload, meet tight deadlines; team player; strong analytical skills; detail‑oriented with ability to organize information.
