Business Development Manager-Turnarounds

Overview

Position: Business Development Manager

Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing

Location: Houston, TX

Travel: 50-75%

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth and profit objectives
• Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities and target accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Communicate WYATT's capabilities, resources, and value proposition to customers
• Support sales pursuits, including coordination with estimating and management teams through final close
• Monitor market conditions and adjust sales strategies as needed
• Provide feedback on client programs, active work, and marketing initiatives
• Participate in post-project "lessons learned" reviews
• Travel as required to support business development activities

• Degree preferred but not required
• Extensive experience in the construction industry, preferably supporting refining, petrochemical, or chemical markets
• Strong understanding of the sales process with a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and close business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; results-driven and client-focused
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales tools
• Valid driver's license

• Primarily office-based with travel as needed
• Standard physical requirements associated with office and field sales activities
