Industrial company that provides composite pipe repair solutions, leak repair, corrosion control and pipe remediation.

POSITION: Sales Engineer

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE + bonus

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

SUMMARY: Sales Engineer is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating their activities to effectively execute sales that will drive targeted profitable growth.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and implements comprehensive sales activities resulting in increased sales and growth of company.
  • Willing to travel, as needed, to increase sales in existing or new customers.
  • Achieves consistent results through effective cold calling and customer development
  • Manage sales activity and customer interaction through a leading CRM tool
  • Works with the business unit teams to understand and implement key sales techniques resulting in increased sales opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company’s products and pricing.
  • Develop a strategy for new customer solicitation, bid preparation and customer retention.
  • Maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs; proactively manages customer base
  • Reviews Customer Service Agreements for terms and conditions pricing, accuracy, and other requirements
  • Performs other job duties as assigned or apparent

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial sales (refining and petrochemical preferred)
  • Experience using business and sales software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, or other CRM tools, etc.)
  • Experience developing comprehensive strategies
  • Strong proven sales experience in networking, cold calling, and developing leads.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and enlist the support and participation of others
