Our client provides an entire suite of software applications specialized for the oil & gas industry. Their portfolio includes engineering software, training modules and simulators to help with calculations to mitigate risk, accelerate projects and enhance performance. They are focused on growing their sales organization in Houston and looking for talented individuals to join their team.

Job Description
  • The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for bringing on new business in their assigned territory through cold calling, email campaigns, lead generation and follow-up, and daily sales activities.
  • Collaborate and work closely with marketing and BDR team to support inbound efforts; 50% of leads should come from marketing and 50% should be self-sourced.
  • Assist customers in understanding platform and suites, configuration, environment, and how they fit within their current infrastructure and engineering processes in order to win new business.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of SaaS/Software quota carrying sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, coachable and performs well inside team environment.
  • Experience in driving a sales process from prospect to close and/or owning the account relationship.
Location

Reporting to an office daily in Houston, TX with flexibility for 1x/week remote after initial probation period.

Compensation

Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
Total Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000
