Position SummaryAs a Sales Designer
, you will be the key liaison between our brand and prospective clients. You’ll combine your talent for relationship-building and sales with a flair for design—consulting with homeowners, understanding their vision, and presenting innovative backyard solutions. You will lead clients through the design and sales process, ultimately closing high-ticket outdoor living projects.
- Qualified Leads Provided: Inbound and marketing-driven leads—no cold calling.
- Draw Against Commission System: Get started with financial stability.
- High-Earning Potential: Commission-based income with average sales exceeding $150K/month.
- Supportive Culture: Tools, training, and systems to help you thrive (CRM, builder software, marketing assets).
- Flexibility: Control your schedule while supporting client needs.
- Conduct in-person consultations to assess project scope and gather measurements/photos.
- Present custom outdoor living designs and detailed proposals.
- Guide homeowners through selections and answer technical and design-related questions.
- Follow up diligently with all leads through our CRM (Hub Spot and Builder Trend).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals with integrity and professionalism.
- Work closely with internal teams (designers, project coordinators, production) to ensure a seamless handoff.
- Maintain a high close rate by building trust and showcasing the value of our brand.
- 3+ years in a sales role, preferably in construction, remodeling, design, or luxury home services.
- Strong presentation skills—both visually and verbally.
- Ability to read site plans, work with measurements, and visualize spatial layouts.
- Tech-savvy and organized:
Experience with CRM tools (Hub Spot a plus). - Self-starter who thrives in a goal-oriented, high-performance culture.
- Professional appearance and demeanor—this is a client-facing role.
- Prior experience in outdoor living, landscape design, or home improvement sales.
- Knowledge of design software, CAD, or 3D modeling tools.
