Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales executive to drive growth in the U.S. market, with a main focus on the Gulf Coast region, by promoting our passive fire protection and industrial insulation solutions. Based in the Houston, TX area, you will combine technical understanding with strong commercial skills to develop new business, grow strategic accounts, and position the company as a trusted partner for our customers’ safety and reliability needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, hands‑on sales professional who enjoys working in industrial environments and building long‑term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business with industrial customers (EPCs, contractors, OEMs, and end users) in target segments such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and heavy industry.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long‑term partnerships.
- Promote NPC’s solutions in passive fire protection and industrial insulation, clearly communicating technical and commercial benefits.
- Identify opportunities early in the project cycle, working with engineering and procurement teams to get NPC solutions specified in bids and project documents.
- Prepare and deliver technical‑commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations, in coordination with internal engineering, estimating, and project teams.
- Follow up on leads and tenders, negotiate terms and conditions, and close deals in line with company targets and margin expectations.
- Visit customer sites and industrial facilities across the U.S. to understand applications, gather technical data, and identify additional opportunities for NPC products and services.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts in CRM and provide regular activity and market reports to management.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (engineering, projects, operations) to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or similar is a plus).
- 3+ years of sales experience in industrial B2B environments (e.g., oil & gas, power, petrochemical, industrial construction, insulation, fire protection, or related).
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing a territory or portfolio of industrial accounts.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and discuss engineered solutions (drawings, specifications, insulation/fireproofing systems, etc.).
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills, comfortable interacting with engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. (primarily the Gulf Coast region) and occasionally internationally, as required.
- Experience using CRM tools and Microsoft 365 for managing pipeline, reporting, and communication.
