At Fountain Forward, we generate qualified leads through our online advertising system, guiding potential clients to valuable blog content and offering an introductory analysis upon form submission. We are now building a sophisticated long-term nurture sequence to effectively engage these leads and convert them into valuable clients. Moreover, on top of our inbound leads system we are actively looking for a BDR to increase lead generation through cold outbound efforts and activate previously engaged leads.

Job Summary

Fountain Forward is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the BDR will be instrumental in GENERATING, managing, and nurturing inbound leads generated through our online marketing efforts. Furthermore, an ideal BDR will use the database of prospects by following and creating sequences to re-engage previous opportunities.

This role will be crucial in developing and executing our new long-term nurture strategy within Salesforce, ensuring consistent engagement and ultimately driving sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of sales processes and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

Proactively explore and implement strategies to generate new qualified leads, including but not limited to (these leads will be used to set Strategy Analysis meetings for Sales Director):

  • Cold Outreach:
    Utilizing Fountain Forward’s Salesforce of Cold Leads, leverage cold calling, texting, and emailing to generate SQLs
  • Broad Marketing:
    Working with the Sales Director, implementing strategies to do large-scale marketing to current inbound prospects, lost opportunities, and cold leads
  • Leverage Referrals:
    Using your own book of business, as well as Fountain Forward’s current client list, creating an ongoing source of internal and external referrals
  • Linked In Outreach:
    Identifying and engaging with key decision-makers (e.g., General Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing Directors) at automotive dealerships through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Secondary Accountabilities and Strategies
  • Industry-Specific Online Research:
    Identifying dealerships that may benefit from Fountain Forward's services through online research, industry publications, and competitor analysis (these include NADA, Automotive News, Digital Dealer, etc)
  • Exploring Partnerships:
    Identifying potential strategic partnerships with complementary businesses within the automotive ecosystem.
  • Webinars and Online Events:
    Assisting in the planning and promotion of webinars or online events targeted at automotive dealerships to capture leads.
Minimum Key Performance Indicators
  • Maintain and hit weekly and monthly outbound call activity (minimum of 250 calls per week, ideal candidates will exceed 400+ weekly)
  • Create a minimum of 30 SQLs per month based on referrals, CRM mining, and cold output
  • 100% Salesforce data accuracy for any inbound or outbound Lead or SQL
  • 24 hour turnaround on inbound Lead to appointment set
  • 48 hour turnaround on data collection post appointment
Lead Management and Qualification
  • Thoroughly review and understand inbound leads generated from online form submissions. Prequalify leads through online research.
  • Develop highly personalized outreach campaigns that demonstrate a deep understanding of the individual prospect's role, dealership, and the unique challenges of the current automotive market.
  • Conduct initial outreach (primarily via phone) to understand the prospect's needs, challenges, and current marketing strategies.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria and identify strong potential clients for further engagement by the Sales Director.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead status within Salesforce.
