Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and results‑oriented Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join a growing team in Houston. This role is ideal for a motivated “hunter” who thrives on generating new business, building relationships, and closing high‑value deals.

This position offers strong earning potential, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build a long‑term career in a high‑demand industry.

Candidates from related commercial trades (HVAC, MEP, flooring, fire protection, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, site visits, and relationship building
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, facility managers, and key decision‑makers
  • Perform roof inspections and identify client needs
  • Create and present proposals, bids, and contracts
  • Collaborate with estimating, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Stay informed on market trends, materials, and competitors
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals
  • Track all activity and pipeline using CRM software
Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial construction sales, facilities services, or related industries
  • Strong network within the local market is highly preferred
  • Understanding of commercial building systems and/or roofing is a plus
  • Proficient with CRM tools and pipeline management
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to clients
  • Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
  • Comfortable working at heights when needed for site inspections
Preferred
  • Experience in commercial roofing or building envelope systems
  • Knowledge of local building codes
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
