Producer - Commercial Lines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively identifies client’s needs and establishes key relationships by identifying and closing sell opportunities.
• Maintains adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and the industry to effectively manage, maintain and develop client relationships.
• Meets established production requirements.
• Responds to client inquiries in a timely manner, providing creative solutions and establishing key relationships.
• Manages the relationship and transitions maintenance to appropriate customer service representatives.
• Completes application forms and assists CSR in obtaining loss runs and other documents needed for quoting purposes.
• May be called on to submit the applications and related documents to carriers.
• Maintains knowledge of coverage and the industry to develop client relationships.
• Timely follows up with clients regarding insurance inquiries.
• Reports on a weekly basis regarding prospecting activity and sales results.
• Responsible for creating pipeline for commercial business to meet production goals.
• Consistently contacts current customers and converts them into multi-line clients.
