About the Role

As an Outside Sales Representative
, you’ll manage and grow customer accounts within your assigned territory. You’ll work closely with operations, inside sales, and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires regular customer visits, both to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory by maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Visit customers regularly to assess needs, present solutions, and close sales.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes in collaboration with the inside sales and operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and operations to ensure timely product delivery and support.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Represent PASS Controls at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial equipment, automation, or related industries.
  • Proven success in B2B sales and account management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both in person and via email/phone.
  • Working knowledge of Quick Books (or similar ERP system) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Houston area and surrounding regions.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets
    .
  • Grow territory sales volume by developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
  • Maintain a high customer retention rate through consistent follow-up and quality service.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports, forecasts, and activity summaries.
  • Deliver profitable sales growth aligned with company goals.
