Job Overview

Convergint is looking for a full‑time, enthusiastic, results‑driven Service Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role you will prospect and cultivate new relationships, securing service sales opportunities, and grow with our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Pipeline: Work with decision makers to assess need, gain agreement on a business case, and establish a 3:1 pipeline over target.
  • Proposal Construction: Construct winning proposals that include the quote, business case and unique qualifications.
  • Presenting & Closing: Present proposals to decision makers while managing objections related to timing, price and competition; lead final negotiations to timely go/no‑go decisions.
  • Market Focus: Identify, prospect, and develop pipeline for assigned markets/geographies; reflect opportunities in assigned market(s).
  • Solution Focus: Identify and develop pipeline for assigned service solutions (maintenance services, SaaS solutions, managed services).
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Partner with Account Executives, service colleagues, and solution partners to create and deliver winning proposals; ensure the business case and solution lead to proposals that win.
  • Manage Accounts: Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customer accounts; ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting revenue and profit targets.
  • Establish & Measure Market Awareness: Engage in networking activities, deliver impactful presentations, attend industry events, and actively participate in industry associations; generate new pipeline opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of B2B full‑cycle sales experience with proven success in consultative, non‑transactional sales environments.
