The Sales & Marketing Manager will support the development of the JV’s OCTG commercial activity, with an initial focus on USA and Canada
. The role will combine sales development, account support, inside sales, RFQ/proposal follow-up, market intelligence and commercial planning
.
The position will report to the OCTG Sales Director for North America
. During the initial stage of the JV, this responsibility is currently being covered by the CCO
. The role will act as an individual contributor, with no direct reports, but with coordination responsibilities across sales, technical, planning, operations, supply chain and finance. The title “Manager” reflects the expected level of ownership, customer-facing responsibility and accountability, rather than people management.
- Conduct OCTG business development and sales activities in USA and Canada.
- Follow up on customer opportunities, RFQs, proposals, clarifications and commercial actions.
- Coordinate internally with technical sales, operations, planning, supply chain and finance to support timely and competitive offers.
- Support selected customer and account management activities, including meeting preparation, customer follow-up and opportunity tracking.
- Provide inside sales support to improve proposal discipline, response time and visibility of open opportunities.
- Prepare market intelligence, customer and competitor analysis, tender tracking and commercial planning inputs.
- Support sales strategy, demand visibility, pipeline reporting and management updates.
- Progressively support broader commercial coordination across other regions as JV activity develops.
- Experience in the OCTG industry of 4 to 7 years, which shall include B2B sales, account management, inside sales, commercial planning or business development.
- Engineering / technical background is required.
- Experience in oil & gas, energy, steel tubular products, industrial manufacturing or technical sales preferred.
- Ability to interact with customer stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, technical and operational functions.
- Strong analytical skills, including market analysis, demand planning, reporting and use of tools such as Excel, Power BI or CRM systems.
- Strong communication skills, commercial discipline and ability to work across functions in a developing business environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish capability preferred, to support communication with customers and internal stakeholders across different regions.
