We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative who’s ready to join a fast-growing team that values grit, honesty, integrity, independence, and growth.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and expanding ITA Industrial’s footprint within the Houston industrial market and surrounding areas. You’ll call on manufacturers, fabrication shops, OEMs, maintenance teams, and local contractors—building partnerships, uncovering new opportunities, and providing solutions that make their operations more efficient and profitable.

This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and collaborates closely with our Inside Sales, VMI, and Operations Teams.

• Develop and manage a territory sales plan focused on growth, retention, and profitability.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across key markets:
  Fabrication, BPT, MRO, Pumps, Tool Calibration and Tool/Equipment Repair.
• Conduct regular customer visits to build relationships and assess customer needs with honesty and integrity.
• Present ITA’s full product and service portfolio—including Nomad AODD pumps, Wright Tools, various power transmission products, calibration services, tools & equipment repairs, pumps/equipment and VMI programs.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Provide cost savings through innovation and technology to our customers.
• Represent ITA Industrial at trade shows, customer events, and product training sessions.

• 1-2 years of experience in industrial distribution, MRO sales, or related field preferred (but not required).
• Education- the only education required is common sense. Diplomas, certificates and participation trophies do not impress us.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial supply lines (tools, equipment, pumps, BPT, etc.).
• Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close deals. If walking into new places and meeting new people gives you anxiety this is probably not the position for you!
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
