Relationship Manager – Central Region Market Group, Louisiana Gulf Coast
A motivated Relationship Manager will oversee the expansion of GHD’s presence in the Louisiana Gulf Coast, based in Baton Rouge. The hybrid position requires on-site collaboration three days a week and on-call client engagement.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage key client relationships, including energy, petrochemical, shipping/ports, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors.
- Lead account teams and execute relationship management plans for complex client accounts.
- Clarify client needs, set objectives for sales calls, and tailor presentations to decision makers.
- Sell client propositions, negotiate commercial terms, and facilitate price concessions as needed.
- Act as client champion within cross-functional teams to foster strong external relationships.
- Prospect new accounts and develop relationship plans for potential clients.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, ensuring quality records and resolving issues.
- Represent GHD at trade shows and industry events to identify opportunities and enhance reputation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Pursue personal development through training, conferences, and professional accreditation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of the energy, petrochemical, shipping/ports, manufacturing, and agriculture industries.
- Proven experience in client engagement and business development with government, industry, and community stakeholders.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations (LDEQ, USACE, EPA, FERC, DOE, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute market strategies.
- Seller/doer mindset with strong business development, proposal preparation, and marketing skills.
- 401(k) – eligibility starts after 3 months of service.
