Major Duties
- Research prospects through Factiva and Lexis Nexis; prepare materials (letters, agreements, marketing updates) for prospect, COI or client meetings and presentations.
- Compile reports for prospects, COI or client meetings and presentations.
- Arrange logistics for prospect, COI or client meetings, including travel, audio‑visual aids, and reservations for seminars, lunches, and dinners.
- Execute special projects such as coordinating reports, preparing account analysis, and workflow reports to respond to specific account inquiries.
- Maintain prospect database; execute proactive DRIP campaigns to convert leads into prospects and set up files for new business prospects.
- Review and organize all asset/family information and trust documents to assess appointment status and identify discrepancies.
- Submit account documents to the legal area and external attorneys after inspection to ensure compliance and acquire missing information.
- Collaborate with Wealth Strategists to keep prospect files active and trigger follow‑up calls.
- Compose letters to prospective clients and conduct follow‑up telephone calls to arrange meetings.
- Communicate with partner areas about prospect/client relationships and initiate activities that satisfy partner or client needs.
- Respond to individual prospect or client inquiries via written correspondence or telephone.
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of trust‑oriented services (personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management, security custody, financial consulting, estate and tax planning) through ongoing training.
- Lead sales calls and present to COIs or prospects independently, developing an independent calling program.
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of personal financial planning, trusts, and investment products; proficiency with bank computer applications (Lotus Notes, Trust System, Contact Management).
- Understanding of fiduciary products and services, fee structures, documentation, and policies.
- Familiarity with departmental duties to direct client‑related inquiries.
- Analytical, organizational, and sales skills to manage the sales process proactively.
Experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- 1–3 years of trust sales or trust relationship management experience.
