Job Description:Business Development Account Manager
Location: Houston TX
Reports to: Sales Manager
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Salary: $65-70K

Position SummaryOur client, a food manufacturing company is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Development Account Manager to join their sales team!
This position focuses on developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales goals in the assigned area.
This role involves product demonstrations and tastings; it is a great fit for someone who has an interest in Asian cuisine and enjoys cooking or food presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Report to office every morning. 80% client visit in the area, 20% desk work.
- Identify new business opportunities and promote company products and services.
- Conduct sales meetings, prepare proposals, and follow up with clients.
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide regular sales reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Japanese language skills required.
- 3+ years of food sales or business development experience (B2B preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license; able to travel frequently within territory.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Positive attitude, self‑driven, and results‑oriented.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
