Lawn Management Company (LMC) is adding a new Business Development Representative to its sales team in Southwest Houston! This role will source, cold call and close new business for commercial landscaping maintenance business. Our ideal candidate is a polished, assertive, and results‑oriented individual with a track record of exceeding B2B sales targets. This is a full‑time, benefit‑eligible role with typical hours being 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
Total compensation for this role includes base salary and commission, an annual incentive bonus, and a car allowance.

Responsibilities- Identifies sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead generation, follow‑up, and networking.
- Cold calls new prospects and manages the full sales cycle: lead generation, lead follow‑up, qualification, needs analysis, bid preparation, contract negotiation and closing.
- Consistently hits or exceeds sales objectives for new customers and/or up‑selling current customers.
- Documents daily sales activities, prepares accurate reports and forecasts, manages pipeline, and communicates such activities to management.
- Provides field feedback to internal, cross‑functional teams regarding services, selling and competitive matters.
- Transitions new accounts to, and introduces, the Account Manager to clients.
- Works collaboratively with the operations team as well as other sales/marketing groups within the organization.
- Attends weekly production meetings to remain abreast of project status and to inform the production team of any changes to design or specifications.
- Monitors payment terms and coordinates with accounting to collect payments in accordance with the established schedule.
- Develops and maintains a high level of knowledge about landscaping services provided by the company.
- Develops and maintains an understanding of the properties, multi‑family managers, property managers and their respective budgets and needs.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive B2B business development/sales experience, ideally in landscaping or another facility service industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing or a related field of study is preferred.
- Can demonstrate a successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass pre‑employment background and drug screening.
- Shares in company values and can demonstrate those values in the field.
