Access Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Sales Detail Rep – Bio Pharma to work in Houston, TX (Job i). The position focuses on promoting innovative pharmaceutical products to primary‑care physicians, achieving territory sales goals, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and educate physicians on the use of pharmaceutical products through one‑on‑one meetings, presentations, and company‑approved programs.
  • Work in the field weekly to plan calls, follow up with customers, prepare presentations, schedule appointments, and generate reports.
  • Meet call‑plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to APUS‑defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
  • Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business‑plan activities.
  • Support targeted customers using company‑approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities identified by Sales Management.
  • Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion partners; manage company equipment and promotional materials per compliance guidelines.
  • Execute territory sales strategy using the annual and regional business plans, and generate call‑activity reports.
  • Accurately report sales activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadlines set by the Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications
  • Some sales experience or proven sales abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the industry.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, ownership‑oriented approach.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and business‑acumen skills.
  • Motivational and persuasive abilities.
  • Team orientation.
  • Proven record of sustained high sales performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Organizational Context
  • Physician‑customer facing role reporting to a National Sales Manager.
  • Manages a territory with multiple pharmaceutical products.
  • Leads relationships in primary‑care and specialty areas, balancing territory and regional responsibilities.
