Opla Energy Services is a leading provider of innovative energy solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Technical Sales Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, maintaining existing accounts, and fostering new business relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with clients at both rig sites and corporate office locations.
- Set up meetings with potential customers to present Opla’s products and services.
- Understand and anticipate customer needs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Promote Opla’s services, products, and technologies to potential and existing clients.
- Organize and participate in client appreciation events (e.g., cookouts, golf tournaments).
- Manage pricing, ticketing, and equipment logistics in the OWS ticketing system.
- Attend client meetings, including pre‑well spud meetings, and deliver impactful presentations.
- Actively represent Opla at industry events and trade shows (e.g., AADE, IADC, SPE).
- Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met or exceeded, providing feedback to the management team.
- Work closely with the CEO to meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining company standards.
- Monitor sales revenue, forecasts, and pipelines, ensuring accurate and timely CRM updates.
- Enhance Opla’s market presence as an industry leader in innovation and progressive solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to turn opportunities into valuable agreements.
- Experience:
2–5 years of oilfield account management and sales experience, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. - Proficiency in sales pipeline management, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated knowledge of MPD systems, including their operation, capabilities, and application in drilling operations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to clients in an accessible and persuasive manner.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand client needs, promote solutions, and close deals independently.
- Effective in formal presentations to various audience sizes.
- Willingness to travel, including to remote or international locations as required.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor junior staff.
- Highly motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required, depending on experience.
