Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a technically skilled Inside Sales Specialist to join their Houston team. In this position, you will manage RFQs, prepare technical quotations, and oversee orders from entry through shipment while collaborating closely with outside sales, engineering, and operations. This is not a role where you sell products you don’t understand — you’ll be selling valves the company designs, tests, and manufactures itself

- Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs with speed and accuracy
- Prepare technical quotes and proposals for MRO and project work
- Review specifications to ensure proper product selection
- Track and follow up on quotes to drive order conversion
- Process and manage orders through shipment
- Coordinate with outside sales and operations teams
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems
- Support reporting on quotes, bookings, and sales activity
- 2+ years of B2B industrial ball valve sales experience required
- Strong knowledge of ball valves, including floating and trunnion-mounted, required
- Experience with RFQs, technical quoting, and order management required
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office required
- Must be willing to work onsite
