This company represents some of the leading architectural and interior product brands from Europe and US. The role is for a high-end, design-focused sales role in Houston for someone who knows the architecture and interior design market and is ready to build business in the field. This person would help shape the sales structure, develop client relationships, and represent the client’s brands through meetings, networking, and showroom introductions.

Key

responsibilities
  • Create or help define the sales structure
  • Drive outside sales and business development across the Houston market
  • Meet architects and designers at their office
  • Book meetings and follow up on opportunities
  • Attend lunch-and-learns and design events
  • Network actively to generate leads and future business
  • Bring clients into the showroom when appropriate
  • Focus on selling and relationship-building rather than estimating, ordering, or project management
Skills and experience
  • Strong background in A&D sales or interior/architectural product sales
  • Well-connected in the design community
  • Experience selling high-end products
  • Confident in outbound sales and business development
  • Existing network or Rolodex that can be used immediately
  • Able to work independently and on the road
  • Comfortable helping establish sales structure and process
