We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to expand our presence in the data center power solutions market, with a focus on selling high-capacity, mobile turbine power applications to hyperscale, co-location, and AI-driven data centers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong EPC background, a consultative B2B sales approach, and deep understanding of power infrastructure. You will lead strategic account development, manage complex commercial discussions, and be a trusted advisor to data center developers and operators seeking alternative energy strategies.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development- Proactively build relationships with key players in the data center ecosystem, including developers, EPC firms, hyperscale operators, and consultants.
- Represent Gen-Systems at trade shows, technical conferences, and data center forums.
- Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualifying to proposal delivery and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored power solutions, including mobile turbine configurations and backup systems.
- Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and power reliability evaluations.
- Translate complex energy needs into business value propositions backed by Gen-Systems’ mobile turbine technology.
- Work closely with EPC stakeholders and internal engineering to align technical scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure smooth project handoff and delivery by acting as liaison between customer, sales engineering, and deployment teams.
- Understand and communicate implications of grid interconnect delays, emissions compliance, and runtime performance.
- Build multi-level relationships within customer organizations to ensure long‑term partnership potential.
- Track sales activities, forecasts, and opportunity pipelines using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Report weekly on progress, wins, and blockers, along with strategic market feedback.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales, strategic account management, or business development in power systems, energy, or mission‑critical infrastructure.
- Experience with EPC project delivery models (Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of data center operations, including hyperscale and co‑location facility power needs.
- Technical familiarity with turbines, diesel, or battery storage systems is a strong advantage.
- Strong written/verbal communication and consultative selling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CDCMP) are a plus.
- Must be available for domestic travel, with flexibility for occasional international support.
