Based in Houston, Texas, G-Iron Logistics is a growing freight brokerage focused on delivering reliable transportation solutions across multiple industries. As we continue to expand our operations, we are actively developing our flatbed division and seeking experienced professionals who can help build long-term customer relationships and profitable freight lanes.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker Sales Agent with a minimum of 3-5 years of brokerage experience. The ideal candidate will bring an established network, strong sales skills, and a proven track record of developing freight lanes and customer relationships. This role will play a key part in helping G-Iron Logistics expand its growing flatbed division by securing new customers, building consistent freight opportunities, and developing profitable lanes throughout regional and national markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lane Development & Customer Acquisition:
    Identify, establish, and grow profitable freight lanes while developing long-term relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain a book of business.
  • Negotiate rates and secure profitable freight opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure successful load execution.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of freight brokerage sales experience.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and develop freight lanes.
  • Experience with flatbed freight is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
