About the RoleJ.T. Meleck Distillers is looking for high-performing, sales-driven Brand Ambassadors to represent our Louisiana-grown rice vodka and whiskey at retail tastings and events.
This is not a passive sampling role. This position is about engaging customers, telling our story, and converting interactions into bottle sales.

Schedule Requirements- Must be available evenings and Saturdays
- Host in-store tastings at liquor stores and retail partners
- Drive bottle sales and meet (or exceed) performance expectations at every event
- Proactively engage customers — no standing behind the table
- Confidently communicate J.T. Meleck’s story (farm-to-glass, Louisiana rice, authenticity)
- Overcome objections and close the sale
- Create a high-energy, memorable brand experience that leads to repeat purchases
- Set up and break down tasting displays professionally
- Track and submit tasting results after each event
- Must be 21+ years old
- Strong communicator with a natural ability to sell and influence purchase decisions
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable initiating conversations with strangers
- Reliable and punctual (non-negotiable)
- Sales, hospitality, or brand ambassador experience preferred
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Passion for spirits, storytelling, and customer interaction is a plus
- This is a sales-first role — success is measured by bottles sold
- Brand Ambassadors are expected to actively engage and convert customers
