As a Sales Associate, you will be a part of the driving force behind our growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our innovative solutions within the maritime, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through various methods.
- Develop an expert knowledge of our product and service offerings, customizing presentations and proposals to align with client needs.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging market trends, competitors’ activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions, consistently exceeding client expectations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and ensure consistent communication to stay attuned to evolving requirements.
- Oversee the general sales cycle, from initial prospecting to successful deal closure, reliably meeting or exceeding set sales targets.
- Collect and communicate valuable client insights to contribute to the enhancement of our offerings and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Open to all experience levels (0‑5+ years of experience); salary and title will be commensurate with experience.
- Prior Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience, especially within the maritime, oil & gas, or industrial sectors, is a strong plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to clients.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability (or strong potential) to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (CRM experience is a plus for experienced candidates).
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
- Familiarity with HD Hyundai Marine Solution Americas’ products and services is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for at least 2 years.
