Primary Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments and maintaining assigned contact lists
  • Participate in professional associations, host lunch‑and‑learns, and promote continuing education (CE) courses
  • Meet sales objectives by maintaining existing customer relationships and building new customer relationships, educating them on why SERVPRO® is the best cleaning and restoration company in the world
  • Compile and maintain decision maker information and identify the “Target 25” (Top 25 prospects to develop into clients)
  • Provide Owners and Sales and Marketing Managers with one‑on‑one meetings (closing appointments)
  • Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving and exceeding sales territory goals
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible business‑to‑business sales experience
  • Proven track record with sales and marketing within the service sector
  • Strong business and financial background and process‑and‑results‑driven attitude
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is preferred
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Pay Rate

Competitive base plus activity‑based commission and increases based on merit.

SMR Role and Expectations

Payroll – $45,000 Salary

Commissioned bases: 1% of sales for Recon, 3% of sales for Mitigation – full commission for SMR generated referrals and ½ commission for house accounts.

Vertical Market Assignments (within assigned territory)
  • Insurance agents, adjusters
  • Plumbers
  • Property management
  • 50 top companies within assigned territory
  • Construction companies
Sales and Contact Goals and Expectations (Month/Year)
  • Develop a list of 750 unique agents within the first year
  • Engage a minimum of 50 agents per week
  • Conduct onsite visits to all agents at least twice per year
  • Ensure 150 agents/adjusters participate in CE classes held by us throughout the year
  • Obtain 25 additional Linked In and Facebook contacts monthly
  • Obtain 3 new Google reviews monthly
  • Market to at least five plumbing companies regularly
  • Engage with at least 100 unique property managers/companies regularly
  • Follow up on each job in the assigned territory to market to the assigned adjuster
  • Perform a minimum of two ERPs monthly
  • Be ready to respond as needed
Sales Goals
  • Generate $1 million in total revenue; by the end of July be on pace in your pipeline to sustain a $1 million year, or $83,500 monthly.
