Job Description
Woodforest National Bank is looking for a Retail Banker to engage customers, promote and sell products, and maintain daily banking operations. The role requires on‑site, full‑time service in a branch setting and offers opportunities for advancement and employee ownership.
Responsibilities- Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
- Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
- Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
- Employ problem‑solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training.
- 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer‑service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of such experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous in‑store banking experience is preferred, but not required.
- Positive and engaging attitude.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Full‑time availability.
- No supervisory responsibility.
- Little to no overnight travel; may cover nearby branch locations up to 45 miles.
