Partner Account Manager – MSP Division (Texas)
We are seeking a Partner Account Manager for the MSP Division in Texas. The role focuses on building and managing a partner network of Managed Service Providers, driving growth, and ensuring customer success.
Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and continuously manage a network of MSP partners and distributors in the USA.
- Support onboarding of new partners and foster long‑term, successful relationships.
- Organize and deliver partner sales training and promote the MSP partner program.
- Drive the creation and execution of partner business plans to grow MSP relationships.
- Represent Proofpoint at industry events and partner forums, presenting solutions.
- Develop accurate forecasts and define clear actions to achieve sales targets in Texas.
- Collaborate internally with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to deliver business goals, while serving as a trusted partner contact externally.
- Minimum of five years professional experience in IT, with expertise in complex solutions and business processes.
- Direct experience in partner account management or channel sales with MSPs, required.
- Strong IT knowledge (education, academic study, or equivalent experience) ideally in IT security, SaaS, or cloud services.
- Demonstrated success growing sales partners and distributors, with measurable impact.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to engage with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel regularly and represent Proofpoint professionally in presentations and negotiations.
- Collaborative team player with an international mindset, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in line with business goals.
- Motivated by success, with a passion for achieving targets and driving partner-led growth.
- Candidate must reside in Dallas, Texas.
