MMA; Methyl Methacrylate Sales Manager

Pay Status : Exempt

• Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Managing MMA sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
• Conducting inventory assessments, maintaining stockroom organization, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages
• Developing new customers and enhancing business relationships
• Maintains and reports sales information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicates customer requirements and or opportunities to Chemical Division Sales Director
• Understands customers end markets and sales strategies
• Continually communicates customer needs to internal counterparts to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
• Increases industry awareness and knowledge by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.

Qualified candidates must have:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school (preferred)
• Around 10 years of domestic sales/local sales/import in the chemical industry
• At least 5 years of sales experience at a chemical distribution company (sales experience for solvents is preferred)
• Able to travel domestic and international (business trips)
• Able to create new opportunities and convert opportunities to revenue in sales
• Resourceful and persistent in prospecting prospective clients
