Position: New Bus Sales Account Manager - East

The New Bus Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and building relationships within the bus sales industry. This position requires a strategic and customer-centric individual who can effectively manage accounts, cultivate new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of heavy and medium-duty truck and bus specifications, market trends, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management:
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales Strategy:
    Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the bus sales sector.
  • New Business Development:
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients, attending industry events, and leveraging networking channels.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of vehicle specifications, features, and capabilities to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide prompt and professional assistance to clients throughout the sales process, from initial inquiries to post-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research:
    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to coordinate sales efforts, resolve customer issues, and optimize business processes.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to track progress against goals and inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in heavy-duty truck or bus sales or a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Computer Proficient and Microsoft Office suite proficient.
  • Valid CDL and willingness to travel as needed.
