Position Summary:The Regional Sales Manager
- Industrial Equipment is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share within a defined multi-state region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment sales, preferably with experience in vacuum systems, or environmental equipment.
- Manage and grow sales within the assigned region through direct customer contact, distributor support, and strategic account development.
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with corporate goals and revenue targets.
- Identify and engage new customers, markets, and applications for Hi-Vac equipment and services.
- Provide technical support and product presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Partner with product management, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, territory activity reports, and CRM updates.
- Represent Hi-Vac at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive feedback to internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B industrial equipment sales; experience in vacuum systems, hydro-excavators, or similar heavy-duty equipment preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel 50–70% of the time within the region.
- Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Existing relationships with contractors, municipalities, and industrial service providers.
- Experience working with dealer/distributor networks.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning, environmental remediation, or construction equipment industries.
