Overview
Senior Specialty Representative – Territory:
Fort Worth, Waco, TX. Relocation is not offered.
Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and help them navigate the complex payer environment. Act as the primary customer contact and implement marketing strategy in collaboration with the District Manager.
Responsibilities- Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Serve as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in‑person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts—customizing discussions and interactions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.

- Basic:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a non‑sales healthcare or scientific field, OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience, OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience. - Preferred:
More than 3 years’ sales, marketing, and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, medical device, or medical supply sectors. - Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases.
- Advanced influencing and relationship‑building skills with a focus on sales outcomes.
- Local market knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

CompensationExpected annual salary range (U.S. excluding Puerto Rico): $115,036 – $155,638. Actual salary will vary based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
