Territory Manager for Spinal Cord Stimulator
At Boston Scientific Neuromodulation, you join a team that is focused on improving the lives of our patients through technology and service. We are leaders in Pain Management Solutions including Spinal Cord Stimulation, Radio frequency Ablation, and Interspinous Decompression Spacers.
Your responsibilities will include:- Focus on patient care by cultivating a designated customer base, prospecting for new customers in an assigned geographic area, acting on leads, and persuading prospects to choose our products and services over competitors. Ensure the territory meets or exceeds all goals through driving sales revenue, assessing competitor strengths and weaknesses, and working closely with the Regional Business Director and other team members to develop sales strategies.
- Oversee the entire SCS process of patient care, including pre‑surgical education, post‑surgical follow‑ups, and long‑term device care. Build a referral base of physicians, operating room staff, and hospitals.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulation products and applications, and possess basic computer skills for procedures and programming. Support physicians’ use of our products in the operating room and with patients, translating technical and clinical knowledge into customer and patient loyalty.
- Provide and receive coaching, give open and honest feedback to ensure success, and develop high‑performing teams by establishing cooperation, communication, and cohesion for achieving goals. Build rapport with clinicians, nurses, technicians, patients, and team members to influence sales and usage of Spinal Cord Stimulation products. Listen actively to others with empathy and respect, and commit to professional and personal development.
- Translate business strategy into clear objectives by maintaining pricing strategy discipline, anticipating problems, and establishing procedures for meeting goals. Demonstrate a broad understanding of financial management principles and their impact on a territory level. Collaborate with the Regional Business Director, Health Economics & Reimbursement, and National Accounts to increase sales team success.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a sales and/or clinical role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Medical device sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology, Kinesiology, or another science field.
The anticipated annualized base amount for this full‑time position is $80,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan, which includes non‑discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives. Additional benefits are available through Boston Scientific’s core and optional benefit programs.
