Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $56,000.00 Annually
Business Development Support- Partner closely with Business Development & Sales to advance strategic growth initiatives across all business channels (Retail, Food service, Wholesale, Club).
- Conduct market and commodity research, including pricing trends, seasonal shifts, and competitive activity.
- Prepare customer‑ready materials: sales decks, product specs, pricing sheets, program proposals, and follow‑up communications.
- Maintain CRM accuracy, track pipeline activity, and ensure timely movement of leads and opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and logistics to support new customer onboarding and program launches.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for customers, ensuring timely responses on pricing, availability & order status.
- Manage order entry, confirm product specs, verify inventory, and coordinate with shipping to ensure OTIF.
- Monitor daily sales activity, identify potential shortages or quality issues, and elevate proactively.
- Support account managers with reporting, customer updates, and administrative follow‑through.
- Maintain accurate records of customer requirements, pack styles, specs, and service expectations.
- Track commodity markets, weather impacts, and supply fluctuations to support proactive customer insights.
- Assist with forecasting, weekly sales reports, and program performance reviews.
- Coordinate cross‑functional communication between growers, packing houses, and distribution centers.
- Support seasonal programs, promotional opportunities, and specialty item introductions.
- Collaborate with internal FSQA team to ensure product specs, traceability and all applicable details are up to date.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- 2–4 years of experience in fresh produce sales, customer service, procurement, or sales support (preferred).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with customers, growers, and internal teams.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Excel/Sheets, and general sales tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
