In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part-Time)
This is a local in‑home field role requiring daily travel to customer residences – not remote. Pay Rate: $21.00 hourly + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend + sales commission.
SchedulePart‑time role with afternoon and evening availability required. Most positions follow a standard 5‑day schedule from 4:05 PM–9:00 PM (end time may vary based on customer needs). In select markets, a flexible 4+ day schedule may be available: 25 hours of availability each week across at least 4 days, with at least 1 day on a weekend. Shifts run between 12:05 PM and 9:00 PM;
the start time may be as late as 4:00 PM, but you must be available until 9:00 PM on your scheduled days. Schedule availability is essential for this role; please review the schedule details above before applying.
We’re looking for an entry‑level In‑Home Sales & Tech Support role to work during our busiest hours. This role is ideal for someone starting their career who enjoys talking to people and wants hands‑on sales experience.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Sales Representative, you’ll be on the front lines helping customers through our Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach. You’ll start with paid training and then work independently in the field, building skills in communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving. In the field, you’ll consistently put the Serve, Solve, Sell™ model into action:
- Serve: Meet customers in‑home, in‑office, or wherever they are. Asurion pre‑schedules interactions, giving you the opportunity to meet and surpass your sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
- Solve: Use your expertise to address and resolve customers’ tech issues, providing an understandable solution that leaves them with a resolution that works and a product that meets future tech needs.
- Sell: Leverage Asurion’s growing range of products to offer tailored solutions. Listen actively to identify customer needs and uniquely position products to meet those needs, using strong negotiation and communication skills to close sales.
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience
- Proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan)
- A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles)
- Appointments located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding the inventory warehouse; maximum expected travel distance is 120 miles one‑way
- Work a varied five‑day week designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job
- Comfortable working around household pets
- Efficient, adaptable, goal‑oriented, and persuasive communication skills
- Open‑minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills that carry through various career paths
- Naturally outgoing and thrives in human interaction

Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
- Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked, paid bi‑weekly
- Earned pay can now be accessed early
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi‑weekly
- Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly
- 35 dollar phone stipend, paid monthly
- Three weeks paid training
